PIEF Scholarship Programs

To be eligible for the PIEF Scholarship:

  1. A keen interest in a career in graphic communications.
  2. Preferably planning to pursue their careers in Ohio, Michigan, or northern Kentucky.
  3. High school seniors, graduates, or college students (freshman to junior) enrolled in a two-or four-year college with an accredited graphic communications program. Professionals in the field seeking further education are also eligible.
  4. Legal residency in Ohio, Michigan, or the counties of Boone, Campbell, or Kenton in northern Kentucky.
  5. A minimum GPA of 2.5 or a GED equivalent.

About the Scholarship: The Printing Industries Education Funds (PIEF) focuses on nurturing a new generation of industry leaders. The scholarship is targeted at students and professionals in graphic communications, particularly those pursuing print management, printing technology, or graphic arts at an accredited institution. This scholarship is $2,500 per year, up to 4 years. This amounts to $10,000 in total.

Application Process: Applicants are required to submit:

  1. The PIEF Scholarship Application
  2. A Personal Statement
  3. Two recommendations from non-family members (like professors, employers, friends, or coworkers)
